Today, I did an Interview with my friend Amy-Rose King and I started telling her about my new puppies. Well they are not so new… I have had them since June. It made me realize that I haven’t blogged about them yet! So I ran to KK’s and got these polo’s that I had my eye on. They were 40% off and I figured that a “photoshoot” was a good excuse to get them. My husband only wears polo (he says it’s easier that way and they don’t go out of style… which is a good reason!) so they had to be like daddy.

We do competition barbecue so we named the boy (the white one) Brisket, and the girl we named Tender.

I didn’t stay out there for long. It was way too humid today and I couldn’t stand it anymore so these are the best shots I got:

This is Brisket. He has a heart on his bottom, and I just heart him. He has a gentle spirit and lots of love in his heart so it is a fitting mark for him. He is a Chihuahua but I think he looks like a Jack Russell.

This is his sister, Tender. My favorite thing about her is that when she wags her tail… she wags her bottom too and it’s so cute. She is so sweet and playful. Tender is the perfect name for her!

This is Cole. He is the grandson of our neighbor’s that we just love. So of course while he was here to visit, we had to snap some pic’s to suprise his mom & dad. This kid is hilarious!! He kept me laughing the whole time. I think I got more pictures of him with his eyes closed because I couldn’t stop laughing

Meet the Lucero Family. We really had a great time together! Their little girl is soooo sweet! She was smiling so big for me before we started and then I got my camera out and they went away. Some of her faces make me smile though Thanks mom and dad for being so patient to see you sneak peek!

The next two are some of my favorites. I ventured out into the sun, instead of staying where it is safe: in the shade, and I am glad I did!

Meet the Torres Family. Could they be any cuter? I don’t think so! Sophia is their precious brown eyed girl that gave me all kinds of smiles! I was so excited to find such great locations that are right by their house!
The last two pictures are taken in a dress that is 50 years old!! Her mom and her grandmother both have pictures in it…. how cool is that!

I had the privilege of photographing Aaron and Alicia’s heartwarming Wedding in July. It was held in the beautiful First Baptist Church in downtown Abilene. Here are a few of my favorites. I have to say, I am not used to having so many images to look through to “pic” my favorites. I have a new found respect for Wedding Photographer’s now!

PLEASE EXCUSE THE GRAININESS! I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY SOMETHING NEW AND SAVE THEM FOR WEB AS GIF FILES. Won’t do that again!

This is Bryson. His family was such a treat to work with. We even got to meet up with his big brother and grab some family shots. I have a brother that is 20 years older than myself also. I love being able to see the “little man” and the “big man” together

The picture on the left is my favorite! Hum, maybe Texas Tech would give me money for it? Just Kidding! It’s pretty cute though!

Presley is my hairdresser’s little girl. I think she gets the best red hair award. I tried red hair once. Let’s just say that I did not look as good a Presley. They like to go bike riding and play on the swing set so we tried to incorporate those things into the the pics.
